I am Reuben (Pooben). I am feeling nice today because here I am thinking of the music i have made and other bits. I am 20 years old and am living in Glasgow. I write songs and other things and also enjoy making artworks and collages recently. I LOVE POWER POP.

My Music

I am sometime doing doings of TROUTFLIES which is my musical constant. I believe in 2023 summer me and Guy Godivala coined Troutflies when we recorded an EP and uploaded it but we deleted it now. Then last year (2025) once a week for a few months we recorded some songs in Guys York bedroom. These songs equal our first album 'The Dancing Years. The album is nice and scrappy and poppy and here is PROOF. It was a great time and then we got some local shows and eventually some less local shows and then i wrote our 2nd album 'Wild Troutflies'. This album is being releases by hood legend P r i v a t e R e g c o r d s . We made this album in Guy's LONDON flat on the last week of April. It will be out on the 23rd of October but here is the first single PUGH and here's some shiny words on the song from big faces.

I am often going off and in THE CHILDMINDERS. It is me and my top friend James. He is Paris Milton and I am Mark Buckler. We have made 4 albums this year and also played 4 gigs. We describe ourselves as a ANARCHO PUNK DUO AND NORTH YORKSHIRE PATRIOTS, which is right. Our songs are made from found sounds or field recordings or clattering like handsome bulls in Abbey Road HQ. I would recommend you, the listener, our 'Opus Album'. It is long and ambitious. Here we played live from the famous WINDMILL BRIXTON. Here is a all star review of our debut album.

I used to play on NEEDLEWORK. It is worth noting we are still great friends but don't live so close. WE LOVED ROCK AND ROLL
